What Is Divorce Mediation?
Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) method that involves going in front of a lawyer mediator and working through the many aspects of a divorce agreement without going to court. As in collaborative law proceedings, each side is represented by an attorney. Anything said to the mediator is kept strictly confidential; a mediator cannot testify for either side if the mediation fails.
